Six killed in separate incidents in Karachi

At least six people were killed in different incidents of violence in the city here on Wednesday, police and rescue sources said. In the first incident, a PQR personnel was shot dead in Frontier Colony in the limits of Pirabad police station. Police said the deceased, Dilawar Khan, was sitting outside his home, when unidentified armed rider came close to him and shot him to death. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities
A man was shot dead in Super Market area within the limits of Sohrab Goth police station. Police said that the victim, Qari Hakim, was standing near Supermarket area, where armed men opened indiscriminate firing on him. As a result, he received severe injuries and died on the spot. The body was shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities
A man was shot dead near Crown Cinema, Maripur road in the limits of Baghdadi police station. Police said the victim, 20-year-old Qasim Soomro, was standing near Crown Cinema when he was targeted by unidentified assailants riding on motorbike. A body of a woman was found from Moachko. Police said the identity of the victim could not be identified. The age of the victim is around 35 years. The body was moved to Edhi morgue after autopsy. Police found a body of a man from Yasinabad area near Lyari Expressway in the limits of Jauharabad police station.
A body of man stuffed in gunny bag was found from Ghani Chowrangi in the jurisdiction of SITE-B police station. Police said that unidentified accused kidnapped the victim from somewhere and later dumped his body at an abandoned place after killing him. The deceased was later identified as Fayyaz Haqnawaz.
