Nobody is complacent

09 May, 2013

It is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for any major party to suspend its election campaign in the final hours of contest. That nobody can be complacent is a strong reality that has found its best expression in a video-message released by PTI chief Imran Khan from his hospital bed.
Through that video-message, Imran had urged his supporters to get out on May 11 and vote for his party. "Now I want you to take responsibility. It you want to change your destiny, I want you to take responsibility. Do not look at the candidate but look at the vision and the party ticket." His message is being widely used as a paid TV advertisement by his party. In the PML-N camp, Shahbaz Sharif is seen to be leading the party campaign following his brother Nawaz Sharif's decision to cancel his day's election-related engagements with a view to showing deep respects for a bed-ridden PTI chief.
