09 May, 2013

Expressing dissatisfaction over the security arrangements for elections, Noorul Haq Qadari, an independent candidate from NA-45, demanded the government and Election Commission to take further steps for ensuring free, fair and peaceful election. Addressing at a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday, he said the security steps were insufficient while keeping in view overall law and order situation in the country generally, and particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and tribal region.
Expressing concern over massive usage of money for selling of votes in NA-45, he said it was clearly violation of Election Commission code of conduct. Earlier, the Fata Democratic Movement FDM president, Abdul Rahim announced fully support to the independent candidate Noorul Haq Qadari in election. He said that election would be held first time in history of tribal region, through balloting process and parties basis in Fata.
But, he lamented that most of political parties had not given any future development plan in its manifestos for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
