HRW wheat bids weak

Cash bids for hard red winter wheat were steady to weaker in the US Plains on Thursday in a quiet market. Protein premiums for railcar wheat to and through Kansas City rose 3-9 cents a bushel for 11.40 percent protein wheat through 12.00-pro wheat supplies but were otherwise steady. Kansas City Board of Trade July wheat settled most recently at $7.60-1/4.
Weekly export sales of US wheat totalled 239,200 tonnes for the 2012/13 marketing year and 226,300 tonnes for the 2013/14 marketing year, the US Department of Agriculture said.
