PML-F candidate for NA-176, Ghulam Mustafa Khar, has alleged that rigging in elections at his constituency caused his defeat. Addressing a press conference here at Multan press club on Sunday, he claimed that polling agents of his rival candidate and police forced voters especially women to vote against him while the local administration did not take notice of the situation.
Khar alleged that politics had become the source of income and added that businessmen had opened ways of corruption for politicians.
The PML-F leader said that politics should be made cheaper by bringing people belonging to middle class into it, he added. He urged the ECP to stop the election results in his constituency immediately and demanded re-election there.
