Twenty houses were gutted in a fire in Mevo Mugheri village near Badin city on Sunday. Fire-fighters with the help of five fire tenders managed to put out the blaze. The affected villagers include Imam Bux, Soomar, Qasim Mugheri, Sain Bux, and Yar Muhammad. A villager said dowry of several girls was also reduced to ashes by the fire.
