Rain, thundershower in Punjab, KP, Kashmir, GB likely

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Sunday indicated chances of rain and thundershower for isolated places of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Rain and thundershower is expected at isolated places of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar and Kohat divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The met office has forecast mainly hot and dry weather for most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
According to the synoptic situation, a low lies over Balochistan and adjoining areas. A shallow westerly trough is affecting upper parts of the country.
The maximum temperatures recorded during the last 24 hours were Islamabad 33 C, Lahore 36 C, Karachi 34 C, Peshawar 35 C, Quetta 27 C, Skardu 23 C, Murree 21 C, Muzzafarabad 31 C, Gilgit 24 C, Faisalabad 37 C, Multan 37 C and Hyderabad 41 C.
