Business community hails ECP services

Exporters, traders and manufacturers hailed the services of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for holding transparent general elections in the country and lauded the services of Pak Army and Security institutions for maintaining law and order during the election across the country.
These views were expressed by representatives of all trade bodies including Sialkot Chamber while addressing a press conference held in Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) on Tuesday afternoon; they also congratulated all political parties on their brilliant success in the elections; all political parties should respect the mandate of each other and work collectively for bringing out the country of multiple crises.
Speaking on the occasion President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) Sheikh Abdul Majid said the prime responsibility of new government is to set up parameters for overcoming the unemployment and price hike issues on top priority basis besides reducing the gap between rich and poor.
Majid said the graph of unemployment has been increased due to the prolonged outage of electricity and there is need of resolving the energy crisis to keep the economic wheel in full motion. In order to provide relief to the poor segment of the society the new government should concentrate on reduction in utility bills, he said. The SCCI President underscored the need of collective efforts for the elimination of the menace of terrorism and corruption from the country.
