Pakistan People's Party (PPP) will try to remove people's grievances in Sindh through good governance and play an active opposition role in the Centre to meet the expectations of the people. President's Spokesman Senator Farhatullah Babar while exclusively talking to Business Recorder stated that the PPP has simple majority in Sindh and it will form government in the province.
He said that the PPP government would launch mega development projects in Sindh to raise the living standards of the people and bring overall prosperity. Answering a question, he said that neither the PPP nor Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) have contacted each other to form a coalition government in Sindh till now. He said that PPP has a simple majority in the province and it can form a government without the support of any other political party. However, he said that PPP may form a coalition government in Sindh province with the support of the MQM.
'About the defeat of PPP in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, he said that no doubt it is a failure of 'our provincial leadership. We will not be demoralised by the defeat and reorganise the Party in these provinces.' Farhatullah Babar said that the PPP would play the role of a strong opposition and will come up to the demands of the people in Parliament.
