Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister commends his cabinet's efforts

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Chief Minister former Justice Tariq Pervez Khan has said that holding of the general elections in a free, fair, transparent and peaceful manner was possible because of the sincere efforts of the provincial caretaker cabinet, the relevant departments of the provincial government and the co-operation of the general public.
He expressed these views while talking to the members of provincial caretaker cabinet who made a call on meeting with him at his office on Wednesday. The chief Minister said that nothing untoward happened on the polling day for which we are thankful to God Almighty. Provincial Ministers Fayaz Ahmad Toru, Abdur Rauf Khattak, Dr Farrukh Sair, Mohammad Younis Marwat, Mohammad Ishaq Khattak, Musarrat Qadeem and Umar Farooq Khan were present in the call on meeting.
The cabinet members congratulated the Chief Minister for discharging his constitutional responsibilities in an admirable manner regarding the holding of the general elections in a peaceful atmosphere. The Chief Minister remarked that all it was possible because of a good team work and well-coordinated efforts of the provincial cabinet members and relevant provincial departments for which everybody concerned deserves appreciation.
He particularly mentioned and appreciated the arrangements made by the Provincial Home and local government departments for holding the elections. The Chief Minister also lauded the discipline of the public during the polling process and said that unprecedented voter turn-out was witnessed in the polling which is a good sign for strengthening democracy in the country. The Chief Minister and the cabinet members congratulated the winning candidates and expressed good wishes for the success of the incoming government.
