Re-election on NA-36 Mohmand Agency demanded

A group of candidates contested elections under the banner of different political parties and independent candidates from NA-36 Mohmand Agency have rejected the polls results, demanding a fresh election under the supervision of Pak-Army.
Those candidates of the constituency NA-36 Mohmand Agency, who made this demand were included, PML-N Haji Zar Khan Safi, PTI Daud Khan Safi, JUI Mohammad Saeed along with independent candidates Rahim Shah Mohmand, Shahsawar Khan Mohmand, Wahidullah Safi, Malik Asghar Khan, Abid Shah, while addressing at a press conference here at Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday.
The candidates informed the polling stations No-68 Shaheed Banda had been shifted to polling station No-70 Sher Ali School with consultation with them or prior information by the authorities in the constituency. Similarly, they said that polling station in Duozai Government Primary School Kasmali, and Government Primary School Taj Mohammad Duozai also shifted from other locations. The decision was deprived more than 3,700 voters from their constitutional right in the elections, they added. The contestants alleged that polling agents had tortured them in Paranghar and expelled from the polling area, aimed at to make sure victory of an independent candidate Bilalur Rahman from NA-36 and fake stumps also posted at ballot papers for this purpose. The attested copies of results' lists were not provided to polling agents at different polling stations in the constituency, they added.
Meanwhile, addressing at another press conference, candidates of PK-13, Shahid Khattak, JUI-F Mufti Imtiaz Ali, JUP Syed Sabtain Gilani, PML-N Akhtiyar Wali Khan, JUI-F Mufti Hakeem Ali and NA-4 independent candidate Azizur Rahman also made a demand from the Election Commission to hold re-election on these constituencies under the supervision of security forces.
