Search operation conducted for Haider Gilani

Police here on Thursday conducted search operation for the safe recovery of Ali Haider Gilani, son of former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen from Multan on May 9. Rokhan Zaib Khan, Station House Officer, Akora Khattak police station who supervised the operation told Agency that search operation was conducted at Mera Misri Banda in the limits of Akora Khattak police station after receiving information about presence of Ali Haider Gilani.
He said a hostage Abdul Wahab had been rescued while efforts were underway for recovery of Ali Haider Gilani. Ali Haider Gilani, a candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party for PP-200 was kidnapped on May 9 when he addressed a corner meeting in Farrukh Town in the limits of Seetal Police Station, Multan after gunmen shot dead two of his associates.
