Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Speaker-designate vows to run PA on pattern of Pakhtun jirga

Speaker-designate, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Asad Qaiser has reiterated his resolve to run the proceedings of the provincial assembly on the pattern of traditional Pakhtun jirga and will establish new history and good traditions for others. He expressed these views while talking to officials of the Assembly Secretariat and media persons during his visit to provincial assembly on Tuesday. Secretary, Provincial Assembly, Amanullah Khan was also present on the occasion.
The Speaker-designate further reiterated that he would bring the difference of treasury and opposition benches to an end to promote the environment of brotherhood and Pakhtun traditions. He said the province has its own rich traditions and will follow them in running the proceedings of the house.
Asad Qaiser said that for the first-time young leadership had come into the provincial assembly and determined to deliver. He said that all the newly-elected members are full of spirit for realistic service of the people. He said that he would leave no stone unturned in the service of the people of the province.
He said that he had accepted the office of the Speaker of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly after thorough thought and with the spirit for the service of the people. He said that he would make utmost effort for coming up to the expectations of the people of Swabi and the province.
Later, the Speaker-designate visited Wapda House, where he held meeting with Chief Executive, Pesco, Tariq Saddozai. On this occasion, the PTI MPA-elect from Swat, Dr Amjad was also present. During the meeting, Asad Qaiser diverted the attention of the Chief Executive, Pesco for early completion of the Turbela-Swabi transmission line and increase in the capacity of the grid stations of different areas. He directed the Pesco officials for utilisation of all available resources for uninterrupted power supply and extending maximum relief to the people.
