Differences have emerged within the ranks of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) over the formation of new government in Balochistan. Sources in the PML-N claimed that there is difference of opinion within the ranks of the PML-N over the formation of government in Balochistan.
One group within the PML-N is advocating for bringing new Chief Minister of Balochistan from the PML-N while the other group is supporting the candidate of Baloch nationalist, the sources said. The PML-N Balochistan President Sardar Sanaullah Zehri who lost his family members during election campaign was not ready to withdraw from the race of Chief Minister Balochistan. However, the PML-N leaders are making efforts to woo him.
The sources claimed that the PML-N, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) and Baloch nationalists have agreed to bring consensus candidate for the slot of new Balochistan Chief Minister. PML-N senior leader Khawaja Asif said the PML-N is a democratic party. The difference of opinion within the ranks of the PML-N on the issue of formation of new government in Balochistan is not worth consideration, as Sanaullah Zehri would honour the party lines.
