An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday dismissed former president and army chief Pervez Musharraf's bail plea in judge's detention case. The ATC judge, Kausar Abbas Zaidi rejected the bail plea after he heard the augments of both the parties. Amir Nadeem Tabish, public prosecutor, told the court that clause 780-A that pertained to terrorism had been included in the list of charges against Musharraf, making the case against him even stronger.
He further told the court that it was a terrorism case against Musharraf and the bail could not be granted in a crime liable for punishment of 10 years imprisonment. The court reserved its ruling and then dismissed bail plea of Musharraf.
