Peshawar administration seeks suggestions on rates for haircut, shave

District administration, Peshawar has directed hairdressers for preparation of recommendation for fixation of official rate for haircut and shaves while consumers association will compile their proposals after conducting a formal survey in this regard.
The decision was taken during a meeting convened on the directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Mohammad Javed Marwat for fixation of official rates for haircutting and shave for the hairdressers of the city.
The special committee constituted for this purpose met here with Assistant Commissioner (AC), Asad Haroon in the chair. Those who attended were included Malik Ikram, Hafeez-ur Rehman Kiyyani of consumers association, president, Hairdressers Association, Mohammad Sharif, general secretary Mohammad Yunus Khokhar and Rozi Gul. The meeting unanimously decided that all A, B and C class hairdressers will install sterilises while all 100,000 hairdressers while have to install split air-conditioners in their businesses. The AC directed the stakeholders to prepare their recommendations in this regard till Monday. In the light of the recommendations the administration will announce official rate of haircutting and shave in the city. For this purpose, a special meeting has already been convened on Monday at 12:00pm.
Meanwhile, on the directives of Deputy Commissioner (DC), the administration Peshawar conducted raids on the examination centres of intermediate and nabbed several students' red handed during cheating. According to details DC Peshawar, Mohammad Javed Marwat for maintaining transparency and law and order in the intermediate examination, resolution of students' problems, district administration visited different schools.
AAC-I, Habibullah Arif and AAC-VII, Mohammad Shoaib conducted raids on Government Higher Secondary School No 4, Kakshal, Government High School Rashid Ghari, Government Higher Secondary School No 3, Peshawar Cantt and Government High School Civil Quarters and nabbed several students red handed while cheating and registered cases against under the unfair means (UFM). On this occasion, they also get information about difficulties faced by the students and expressed anguish over the unavailability of clean drinking water in examination centres and directed school administration in this regard.
