Chairman, Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, was discharged from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital on Wednesday. He was admitted in the hospital after falling from a forklift at a PTI public gathering in Lahore on May 7 and sustained head and back injuries. He went to his house in Zaman Park.
Imran will be needed to wear back support for complete healing of his injuries. The hospital management said Imran would continue receiving regular physiotherapy and was likely to need to wear the spinal support for some weeks to come. Meanwhile, PTI leaders from Punjab, led by Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhary, visited the party chairman at his residence. During the meeting, they discussed matters relating to PTI protest against polls rigging in Islamabad on May 24. The meeting was told that Imran Khan will address the PTI protest through video-link.
