The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department has recovered 1,200 kg of charas from the secret cavities of a truck on the National Highway, said a statement here on Wednesday. It said that the truck has been impounded while an accused has been arrested. An Excise team noticed suspicious movement of a truck at Obaoro Bypass. Upon search, 1,200 kg of charas was recovered from its secret cavities. An accused identified as Abdul Ghafoor Bhutta was arrested.
