At least four persons were killed in separate incidents of violence in the city on Monday, police and rescue sources said. In the first incident, a man was gunned down in Orangi area in the limits of Orangi Town police station. The deceased was identified as Arshad Abbas, 25, son of Mohammad Abbas. He was shot and killed by unidentified armed men. The body was moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.
Separately, a 25-year-old Inam Buksh, son of Nabi Buksh, was gunned down near Fawara Chowk in the limits of Garden police station. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities.
Another man was shot dead in F.C. area, Liaquataabd in the limits of Sherefabad police station. The victim was identified as Mohammad Azam, 65, son of Mohammad Ramzan. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy. Similarly, a man was shot and killed in Lines area near Thanvi Masjid in the limits of Brigade police station. The deceased was identified as Waqas, 22, son of Mahmoodul Hassan. He was gunned down by unknown armed men when he came out of the Mosque after offering Asar prayer. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for post-mortem.
