Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafiq on Saturday said that tackling the energy crisis would be the top priority of the newly elected PML-N government. Talking to APP outside the Parliament House, he said that the PML-N was working vigorously to solve the energy crisis. "We have discussed several long and short term projects to overcome the power load shedding issue," he said.
He said that Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had explained his policy on the issue of drone attacks adding that the PML-N's stance on drone attacks had not changed. Saad Rafiq said that drone attacks were promoting extremism, adding that the international community, particularly the US should understand Pakistan's stand on the issue. To a question, he said that the masses would notice a clear difference between the governance of PML-N and the previous government. In the past PML-N played a constructive and positive role as opposition and avoided politics of agitation, adding that his party leadership was determined to overcome all the crises being faced by the country.
