Punjab University Institute of Agricultural Sciences (IAGS) and Department of Pharmacy, Lahore College for Women University have jointly organised a seminar on kitchen gardening at IAGS. IAGS Director Professor Dr Saleem Haider, Amna Saeed, Mrs Saeed Mughal, Dr Humaira, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, Prod Dr Saleem Haider said that IAGS would tender full support for promotion of kitchen gardening. He said that the seminar would nourish mental capabilities of students of both the institutions. Detailing the project, Amna Saeed stressed the need to grow vegetables at home for ensuring healthy life. Irsa, Ahada, Tahseen and Fariha also threw light on the benefits of kitchen gardening.
