PML-N activists distribute sweets

Activists of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Wednesday distributed sweets and also danced on drum beat to rejoice elevation of Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister for the third term. Supporters of the PML-N gathered in front of Masjid-e-Shuhada where special arrangements were also made for live telecast of oath-taking ceremony of Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister through big screen.
After taking oath by Nawaz Sharif as PM, the PML-N local leaders and workers distributed sweets. Some of the activists of the PML-N also offered thanks giving prayers at Masjid-e-Shuhada. Special prayers were also offered for the betterment of the country and well-being of Pakistani people who are facing difficult time due to host of issues including power load shedding, high inflation.
The PML-N MPA Khawaja Imran Nazir told reporters on the occasion that the PML-N leadership is well aware of challenges posed to the country and would take all important measures for improvement. He said short-, mid- and long-term planning would be made to streamline the affairs in the power sector. He said that all necessary steps would be taken to end line losses, unannounced load shedding, corruption, and theft cases. The PML-N leader said that newly elected government would also provide support to all the provinces so that the problems of the masses could be resolved in a befitting manner.
Moreover, people have pinned high hopes with Nawaz Sharif after taking charge as Prime Minister. Traders of the Mall said they are expecting positive decisions from Nawaz-led government and expressed the hope that problem of power load shedding would be addressed on war-footing basis. Javed Ahmed, a trader of the Mall said the new government must focus on addressing problems posed to the countrymen.
