30 Malay exhibitors to participate in Expo Pakistan

Noraslan Hadi Abdul Kadir, Consul Trade, the Consulate General of Malaysia Trade Section (Matrade) has met with Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Secretary and discussed participation of Malaysian exhibitors and buyers on upcoming Expo Pakistan 2013 from September 26 to 29.
The Consul General appreciated the efforts of TDAP and informed that Expo Pakistan has emerged as international exhibition. He also has confirmed that 30 exhibitors from Malaysia will also participate. Abdul Kabir Kazi, Secretary TDAP, also briefed the Consul about arrangements made for this international exhibition. The meeting was also attended by Jamil Anwar, DG Facilitation and Athar Hussain Khokhar, Director Expo.
Jamil Anwar, Director General Facilitation, held meeting with the representatives of Towel Manufacturers Association of Pakistan (TMA) and briefed them about the arrangements of Expo Pakistan 2013. TMA representatives appreciated the efforts of TDAP and offered their full co-operation and have also confirmed participation of around 15 top exhibitors of TMA and they will also constitute their own pavilion during the upcoming Expo. Athar Hussain Khokhar, Director also attended the meeting.
Representatives of China Association of International Trade and Global Purchase Centre (CAITGPC) have confirmed their participation in upcoming Expo Pakistan 2013. CAITGPC works under Ministry of Commerce of Chinese Government which is tasked with setting up global purchase centres and visiting different countries for exploring markets for the imports of consumer goods. It is expected that major buying houses from China will visit Expo Pakistan. Pakistan High Commissioner at Singapore has confirmed that a big delegation comprising major buyers will visit Expo Pakistan 2013.-PR
