Taiwan stocks ended flat on Friday, as losses in LCD panel makers offset gains in the oil and gas sector. The main TAIEX index eased 0.94 points to 8,095.2, after opening up 0.22 percent. Electronics shares retreated 0.2 percent. Hon Hai Precision Industry however climbed 0.3 percent after news that the company plans to split off its connector business into a separate entity next month, according to sources.
