Like many others on social media, Pakistani celebrities also shared their opinion on verdict in the Salman Khan’s blackbuck poaching case, including actresses Mawra Hocane, Humaima Malick and Ushna Shah.
Many people expressed their disappointment over Salman's verdict in the blackbuck poaching case. Where some declared the sentencing injustice, others supported it and the same happened when Pakistani star Mawra spoke in favor of the superstar, another Pakistani actress Ushna Shah spoke against the actor’s act and defended the verdict.
In a world with no “NO” human rights, a great human being is being punished for killing an animal umpteen years ago under animal rights. Bash me all you want, but there’s something completely wrong about it.. mind you such human beings are our saving grace! #SalmanKhanVerdict
— MAWRA HOCANE (@MawraHocane) April 5, 2018
Ushna replied to the ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ actress’ tweet, claiming that hundreds of animal species have seen extinction at the hands of humans. The actress gave the example of the white rhino species that recently went extinct when the last one died a few days ago.
Hundreds of God’s creatures have faced extinction at the hands of humans hunting for trophies, the white rhino only recently. Everyone, no matter how benevolent a producer, ought to be accountable for their actions. Gratitude shouldn’t conflict with principle.

Ushna further said that everyone whether rich or poor should bear the consequences of one’s doings and should be held responsible for their actions. Many other twitter users also came to speak against Mawra's opinion and trolled her for supporting the superstar.

Are u out of ur mind?
The same man has been involved in hit & run incident that resulted in death & he has also beaten up a woman & threatened female journos.
He isnt our saving grace, he is an example of everything that’s wrong with today’s society.— Od (@odshek) April 5, 2018
Some also supported Ushna's reaction to the actress' tweet.
Thanks for being a sensible voice, Ushna 🙌
And we all agree, each and every individual/animal/creature counts. Nothing and no one is insignificant and no act of injustice done, even if eons ago, can go unpunished.— Zeeshan Fatima Rizvi (@Shanzzify246) April 5, 2018
I don't know why people are saying that it is been SO long...so what? Don't know what kind of law she's been studying. @MawraHocane
