The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) will announce major decisions in its Monetary Policy for next two months on June 21. Sources said that the announcement of the policy was delayed because of the federal budget. The policy will now be announced in the third week of this month. The SBP's Central Board of Directors is scheduled to meet on June 21 for deliberations on key economic issues. The central bank had kept its key policy rate unchanged at 9.5 percent in its previous policy, which was announced in April this year.
