Resolving missing persons' issue Nawaz assures BNP-M delegation

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif urged representatives of Balochistan National Party (BNP- Mengal) to play active role in national mainstream, and PM also lauded their party's participation in recently held general elections. He was talking to Dr Sajid Tareen, Sana Baloch, Abdul Rauf Mengal and Essa Noori of BNP-Mengal, who met with him here on Wednesday on behalf of party President, Sardar Akhtar Mengal.
The Prime Minister said his party offered post of Chief Minister, Balochistan to Dr Abdul Malik Baloch despite winning majority seats in the province. The decision, he said, was taken in the greater interest of the province and country. Prime Minister Nawaz said restoring peace and achieving economic prosperity was on the top of his government's agenda and added progress and development in the province was not possible without taking all political forces on-board.
Members of the visiting delegation conveyed message of Sardar Akhtar Mengal and informed the Prime Minister on issue of missing persons and sought his guidance to resolve it. The Prime Minister assured the delegation of his complete support and resolving all issues including issue of missing persons.
