Zardari condemns terrorist attacks

President Asif Ali Zardari Saturday strongly condemned the rocket and grenade attack at the Quaid-e-Azam's Residency in Ziarat and the bomb blast in a university bus and a terrorist attack at the Bolan Medical Complex. The President deeply regretted the attack on the national asset and said the nation's sentiments were attached with the Quaid's residency. He said the attack has deeply hurt him and the entire nation.
He also expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of the life of the policeman and prayed for his soul to rest in peace. Zardari directed the concerned authorities to take special measures for the safety and security of national assets. The attack on the bus of Sardar Bahadar Khan Women University in Quetta killed scores of innocent students while many were injured. In another related terrorist attack Deputy Commissioner Quetta Abdul Mansoor Kakar, para medical staff and security personnel at Bolan Medical Complex were killed.
President Zardari said that such terrorist attacks will not weaken the resolve of the Pakistani nation to defeat the evil once for all. The President paid tribute to the martyred DC Abdul Mansoor Kakar and other personnel who sacrificed their lives while performing their duties. The President reiterated that such dastardly acts cannot weaken the resolve of the nation to continue struggle against extremism and militancy till its logical conclusion.
He termed the blasts and attack as "cowardly and inhuman acts" and expressed his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families. He also directed the authorities concerned to provide best possible medical assistance to the injured. The President prayed for the departed souls and also for courage to the bereaved families to bear these losses with fortitude.
