Analyst Rashid Ahmad Chenna said that the provincial budgets are good and people friendly. Talking to a private TV channel, he said Punjab budget has set priorities in it; First priority is law and order. The second priority is education and especially primary education and some 20,000 people would be inducted in this sector.
The third priority of the provincial government is poverty alleviation, he added. Next priority of the government is health sector and special funds would be spent on child health. "If we look at the budget, it can be termed as good," he stated. Analyst Shakeeluddin said that Sindh budget took care of common people and the interests of common people have been taken into account while preparing the provincial budget.
He said that 150,000 new jobs would be created for people in the next 5 years and that is a good decision of Sindh government. He said that the provincial government has to spend 38 billion rupees on developmental projects in the coming financial year to invite investors in the country which would improve the economic condition of the country. Analyst Riaz Uddin Daudzai termed the current budget of KPK as people friendly and a welfare budget. He said the provincial government has divided the budget into three parts and huge sums have been allocated for welfare and development projects.
He said according to this budget, a huge amount of 163 billion rupees has been allocated for welfare projects while for the development the budget has allocated 118 billion rupees. He maintained that KPK government has allocated huge amount for the health and education sectors. He said they have also included several programmes which would benefit thousands of people. Special care has been taken of the poor in this budget and the budget will reduce unemployment in the province, he added.
