Punjab Bar Council (PBC) has cancelled practising licences of 47 advocates on charges of possessing fake degrees and violating code of conduct. A statement issued by the Chairman, Executive Committee of the Bar, Tahir Nasarullah Warraich, licences of 20 advocates have been cancelled for having bogus degrees while the others were punished for misbehaving judges, litigants and colleagues. The Bar took action after a thorough inquiry in each case following complaints filed against the Bar members.
