ST and MQM men among four killed

At least four persons were killed in different incidents of violence in the city on Sunday, police and rescue sources said. A worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) named Abdul Sattar, 25, was gunned down by unknown armed men outside his residence near Sindhi Hotel in the limits of New Karachi Industrial Area police station. The body was later shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
A worker of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) identified as Asif Qadri, 18, was shot and killed in Sector 5-J of New Karachi in the limits of Bilal Colony police station. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The spokesperson for the organisation, Fahimuddin Shaikh, condemned the murder and called for quick arrest of the killers.
Imran Yosuf, 22, was gunned down near Chandni Chowk in the Azam Basti area in the jurisdiction of Mehmoodabad police station. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. A man, who was later identified as Zahid Shah, 30, was found dead from an abandoned place on the banks of Lyari River in the jurisdiction of Pak Colony police station. The body was later shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
