03 Jul, 2013

Haq Parast Members of Sindh Assembly have demanded of the provincial government to lift ban on pillion riding in Karachi. In a joint statement issued here on Tuesday, the MPAs said that not only motorcyclists but even the students, labourers and other people who used to travel as pillion riders have been facing hardship in the wake of continued ban on pillion riding.
The legislators said that although the government had imposed ban on pillion riding on the pretext that such a move would help improve the city's law and order situation, everyone was witness to the fact that law and order situation of the metropolis has worsened further. They urged the government to withdraw the ban on pillion riding without any further delay so as to facilitate motorcyclists and their pillion riders.
