At least three persons were killed in separate incidents of violence in the metropolis here on Friday. According to police and rescue sources, unidentified armed men killed a man in Pipri Shah Town in the limits of Bin Qasim police station. Police said that the deceased was identified as Ali Khan and added that he might have been killed over personal enmity. However, sources said he was former worker of Awami National Party (ANP) and that might have been the reason for his killing.
A tortured body was recovered from Qayumabad area. Police said that deceased was kidnapped and then murdered after torture. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained till filing of this report. Another man was killed in Gulistan-e-Johar block 15-A in the jurisdiction of Shahrah-e-Faisal police station. Police said the victim, who was identified as Ghulam Hussain Baloch, was hit by four bullets. The motive behind his murder was yet to be ascertained. Sources claimed that he was working for banned People's Amn Committee. No case was registered till filing of this report.
