PIA plane lands at Moscow airport after developing fault

Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight, PK 785, destined to London from Islamabad, developed a technical fault during flight and landed safely at Moscow airport, PIA spokesman said here on Sunday. The spokesman said that flight PK-785 departed from Islamabad at 10:00 AM (PST) and landed at Moscow airport 3:30 PM (PST) with 128 passengers and four infants onboard. All passengers and crew remained safe and were looked after at Moscow airport lounge.
Another PIA flight PK-701, which was already airborne for Manchester from Islamabad, was directed to land at Moscow airport to pick up the passengers of PK-785 for onward journey to London. PIA management remained in constant touch with Moscow Airport authorities, Pakistan Embassy and PIA Crew. PIA flight PK-701 (Islamabad-Manchester) landed at Moscow airport 10:00 PM to carry the passengers of flight PK-785.-PR
