Awami National Party has demanded the Chief Minister Sindh to take stern measures against killers who were involved in deadly shooting incident at ANP office Landhi. ANP has strongly condemned the incident which was taken place in Landhi Town, outside of the ANP UC 111 office on Sunday night, resultantly two party workers were killed and 6 other were injured.
ANP spokesman for Sindh province, Abdul Malik, while talking to Business Recorder said that Sindh Government had completely failed to ensure peace and security in the metropolis. He said dozens of innocent people are being killed on daily basis in city.
He said ANP has been on the mercy of religious extremism since its foundation. He said incident was also linked to the recent tragedies, as Fazal Amin who had been the General Secretary of ANP, was killed by unidentified gun men a few months ago, and Sadiq Zaman Khatak who were nominee for the National Assembly 254, was gunned down by the terrorists.
He said ANP is a secular organisation which always conveys the massage of non violence, as it was proved by the party workers who were found not involved in destructive activities after the deadly incident. He further said that ANP believes in peace and always thinks for the betterment of the country. He said our silence should not be considered as weakness. He also expressed sympathy with the families of victims.
