As many as 35 toppers from the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education of all the provinces have returned to homeland after one-month long study tour of the UK, Germany and Sweden. They were received at the Lahore airport by Provincial Minister for Health and Minorities' Affairs Khalil Tahir Sindhu, Livestock Minister Malik Muhammad Asif Bha Awan, Secretary Schools Education Abdul Jabbar Shaheen, Special Secretary Higher Education Sohail Shahzad and parents of the position-holders.
Talking to the students, Health Minister Khalil Tahir Sindhu termed them "Ambassadors of Knowledge" and said these students have improved the image of Pakistan abroad. He said the age of ignorance had passed away. Once, those who were knowledgeable used to be pedestrians while the ignorant used to ride Pajero. When knowledge spreads, the ignorance vanishes.
