Activists of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf from constituency PK-4 on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration against the excessive power outages, demanding of removal of Chief Executive, Peshawar Electricity Supply Company and other staff deployed at the power grid station.

Talking to reporters, the demonstrators said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has larger electricity producer, despite the fact that power consumers are facing unscheduled load shedding in the holy month of Ramazan. They blamed that the Pesco was carrying out force load shedding on behest of Federal government aimed at to fail the incumbent PTI led provincial government in KP.
The protesters said that faithful are immensely plunged into trouble due suspension of power supply during Sehr, Iftar and Taraveeh, while the routine life also badly disturbed in the present circumstances. Besides, the unscheduled load shedding, the power tripping and low voltage issues are commonly faced both domestic and commercial consumers, said the protesters.
