Chief of JUI-F has refuted that any underhand "deal" with PML-N has been struck saying that JUI-F only wanted to register compliant against not taking into confidence. In a statement issued here on Tuesday by his Spokesperson, Jan Achakzai, the Maulana said that JUI-F did not question its alliance with PML-N nor did its agreement on core priorities, but raised the issue of PML-N's attitude being met out to its allies on important issues and decisions.
He said that JUI -F was of the view that Balochistan government could not form it's cabinet in almost two months and JUI-F being genuine stakeholder was alarmed about the situation. "So why we were not taken on board", he asked. He said that JUI-F also complained that issues like China visit, sharing of intelligence briefing on security, and understanding with MQM, the party was completely left out in the dark. He said that JUI-F also suggested to PML-N had JUI -F been consulted on presidential nominee, there would have been more support and co-operation.
He, however, said that now PML-N has assured that JUI-F that it will be taken board on all important national issues and decisions. As far as the cabinet is concerned, the Maulana said that JUI-F is not in hurry and will submit its names for the cabinet in appropriate time. He also said that JUI-F and PML-N have agreement on priorities and both parties will strive to ensure their implementation through policies of the government.
He also congratulated the new President-elect, Mamnoon Hussain on being elected as the head of the state, and hoped he will be a neutral president. Referring to Jail break in D I Khan, he said, "PML-N according to its perspective allowed PTI to form government; JUI-F opposed the idea and many thought it was only seeking share in power, but today we are witnessing catastrophic consequences of that decision in form of collapse of peace and order in KPK", the Maulana observed.-PR
