Three robbers, including two women, were caught red handed and thrashed by people in Ghulam Muhammadabad police station. According to police, four bandits, including two women, stormed into the house of a trader, Zahid Imran, in Sultan Town and held the entire family hostage at gunpoint. When robbers were collecting valuables from the house, the inmates raised alarm, to which, locals gathered.
They caught three robbers who were identified as Muhammad Shafqat of Chak Jhumra, Sajida Bibi of Nishatabad, Nadia Bibi of Chak Jhumra whereas their fourth accomplice Muhammad Younus of Chak Jhumra fled. The mob got infuriated and started torturing the dacoits. Meanwhile, police reached the spot and rescued them from the wrath of mob, police spokesman told. Investigation Officer Ghulam Muhammad Abad Sub Inspector (SI) Muhammad Aslam Sabri said police have registered a case.
