The District Administration and Police had adopted a joint strategy for strict enforcement of the law and order in Faisalabad in order to effective implementation of govt policies, control of crimes and maintenance of law and order situation. This was decided during a meeting held here at DCO office committee room which jointly presided over DCO Najam Ahmad Shah and CPO Abdul Razaq Cheema.
Addressing the meeting DCO said that result oriented measures were needed for good governance according to expectations of public. For which purpose the co-ordination between district administration and police would be made more strengthened for taking prompt action against any kind of law breaking. He said that revenue staff and SHOs should remain extra vigilant in their jurisdiction and immediate action be taken against the land grabbers and encroachers. He stressed upon the need of strict joint action against the profiteers, irrigation water theft and urged upon the elimination of dens of gambling, brothels, adulteration, forgery and other regional crimes by taking effective joint action of police and district administration. DCO sought the joint report and recommendations relating to the dispute of mosques and religious tension anywhere in the district for redressal the same with the co-operation of peace committee. He offered the full administrative co-operation of district administration to the police in monitoring and tracking system and other security measures.
