Bears retuned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where losers outclassed gainers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 34.28 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,328.48 to 4,294.20 points. The overall turnover amounted to 142,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 13,500 shares.
Total 135 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (108) closed in negative territory, 27 closed in positive territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of PTCL was 76,000 shares. The volume of Pioneer Cement was 36,000 shares. The volume of Pyco Petroleum was 25,000 shares.
