Seafood vendor, two others shot dead

At least three persons including a seafood vendor were killed in separate incidents of violence at various parts of the metropolis, here on Monday. According to police and rescue sources, a seafood vendor Tariq, 45, son of Muhammad Qasim was gunned down at his shop located in the limits of Kharadar police station. Police said that deceased was active worker of one of the political parties and might have been killed over refusal to pay extortion to Lyari gangsters.
Shahid Alam, 22, son of Umar Gul was killed in another firing incident took place at Jamali Goth in the jurisdiction of Sohrab Goth police station. Police said Shahid lost his life over resistance during a robbery bid. A scavenger was shot dead at Orangi Town No 10. Police said the identity of the victim was yet to be ascertained while he was shifted to Edhi Morgue for identification.
