DCO/Acting Commissioner, Najam Ahmad Shah has directed the District Police to beef-up the security under the prevailing law and order situation and the bomb blast in Shalimar Express at Toba Tek Singh, which demands extra-ordinary security arrangements in the district.
He has requested the CPO, Abdur Razzaq Cheema to beef-up security at all public places, especially at General Bus Stands, Railway Stations, Hospitals, Plazas, Bazars, Marekts and Parks and at Fund Land and order all the 5 Towns SP's that they should remain on High Alert and activate the Police Force to be extra-ordinary vigilant to thwart any untoward incident in Faisalabad District.
The DCO directed that Security Gadget should be installed at all the Eid Congregations and Worship places and the screening of these places should be conducted forthwith. DCO has also directed the District Emergency Officer of Rescue 1122 and the District Officer, Civil Defence, to keep themselves ready to cope with any eventuality. The EDO (health) Faisalabad has also been asked to direct the Medical Superintendent of all the Hospitals in Faisalabad District, especially the DHQ Hospital and Allied Hospital to remain on emergency mode during the Chand Raat and Eid day.
