Ebad for foolproof security during Eid

Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, has called for foolproof security arrangements on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. He was presiding over a meeting regarding the Eid-ul-Azha, said a Governor House statement issued here Thursday evening. It said that he directed the concerned officials to ensure effective security for mosques, Eidgahs and Imambargahs.
The governor also emphasised on spray before Eid-ul-Azha and that steps be undertaken for the removal of offal of the sacrificial animals. He said that keeping in view the past experiences arrangements be made in a way that there are no complaints from the people regarding cleanliness on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. He stressed that the complaint centres be activated so that public grievances be addressed on time.
The governor directed the Commissioner Karachi to supervise arrangements with regard to Eid and ensure proper cleanliness. Administrator Karachi informed the meeting that regarding lifting of offal of sacrificial animals, there would be 20 collection points in the metropolis from where the offal would later be properly disposed of.
