Tremors shake parts of Balochistan, Sindh

Two earthquakes of moderate intensity jolted different parts of Balochistan and Sindh on Friday evening. Tremors were felt in Quetta, Khuzdar, Sorab, Sibbi and other adjoining areas. According to Met Office, the first earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale was recorded at 6:12 pm and its epicentre was 122 kilometers north of Turbat. A second tremor of 5.6 magnitude, which was felt at 6:24 pm, was located 60 kilometers north of Khuzdar. Tremors were also felt in Sukkur and other parts of Sindh.
