23 Oct, 2013

A division bench of Peshawar High Court on Tuesday dismissed a case filed against Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) by CNG stations owners. The bench comprised Chief Justice Dost Mohammad Khan and Justice Asadullah Chamkani. CNG stations owners had filed a case in which they sought issuance of orders for Ogra that it must not reduce gas pressure during the winter season.
The court set aside the case, and issued orders to disconnect all illegal gas connections in Mardan, Kohat and Karak districts. PHC CJ said, "About 60 percent of CNG stations owners are thieves."
