A condolence reference was conducted by Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) members on the sad demise of Haji Bashir Ahmed, Chairman Sitara Group of Industries here on Wednesday. The condolence reference was largely participated by business leaders wherein Mian Muhammad Adrees, son of late Haji Bashir including Mian Muhammad Anis, Mian Javed Iqbal and Mian Imran Ghafoor were also present.
President Faisalabad Chamber Engr Suhail Bin Rashid speaking on the occasion said late Haji Bashir was an institution in his personality which he established not only in the business community but also in the general public. He continued his mission to serve the distressed humanity and common man by setting up various educational and healthcare institutions in the area. Haji Abdur Rashid, a close friend of late Haji Bashir, said he was a lightening candle who served the humanity in a big way and his name would remain alive always.
Hafiz Muhammad Younis, who served late Haji Bashir for 22 years, said he set up a large number of social welfare institutions during his life. "When he used to start any new project, his prime motive was always remained to provide employment to the people," he added.
Sheikh Muhammad Bashir, Executive Member of FCCI, said the strength of Sitara Group was indebted to the wisdom, hard work, honesty and business ethics that were followed strictly by him. Former President Mian Aftab Ahmed said the sad demise of Haji Bashir was an irreparable loss not only to Faisalabad but also to entire nation.
Mian Muhammad Adrees, former President FCCI and grand son of Haji Bashir said his father ran the business with hard work, dedication and honesty and passed a fully successful business and family life. He followed a successful business and serving to the humanity roadmap and we would do every effort to abide by his principles and mission spirit.
