Agri Forum Pakistan (AFP) Chairman Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Mughal advised the rulers not to pin hopes on the United States or the United Kingdom for solution of Kashmir issue. He alleged that both these countries have played role in complicating this issue. In a statement issued here on Thursday, Mughal said the global powers adopted a dual attitude and they dub those fighting for their right to self-determination in Kashmir as terrorists.
However, he hoped the day is not far off when Kashmiris would lead an independent life and decide their own future. He predicted that the trinity of UK, US and India wanted to keep Kashmiris subject that would themselves disintegrate.
Mughal said the Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the 1948 resolutions of the United Nations and not according to the wishes of UK, US or India.
