Indonesia's Timah expects 2014 tin sales to rise

Top Indonesian tin exporter PT Timah expects its sales of refined tin in 2014 to increase by more than 22 percent, and won't be lifting its force majeure on shipments before at least 2014, the chief executive of the state-owned firm said. Timah declared a force majeure on August 30 when new regulations forcing domestic tin producers to trade on a local exchange came into force.
