Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday ordered fresh investigation into the murder case of Hamza, a 16-year-old boy, who was killed in Karachi's Defence area on April 27 this year. A division bench of the SHC, headed by Justice Ghulam Sarwar Korai, directed the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) to re-investigate the murder case and submit a fresh charge-sheet in the trial court within a period of 30 days.
Hamza was allegedly killed by his schoolmate Shoaib Naveed's private security guard on April 27 after an altercation between the two boys. The victim's father, Talib Suhail, moved the SHC seeking direction to police for reinvestigating the murder case by a team of honest police officers.
